futura firmware upgrading, step by step

VERY
IMPORTANT: do not switch off or disconnect any cable while
upgrading operation. This may cause fatal errors.

1.
Download and uncompress the following file (latest version):

Connect the MicroMATV futura to the computer by means of a RS232
cable (DIRECT)
3. Execute FlashMagic.exe and proceed with the installation
4.
Click Next > and this window will appear:
5. Click Next >
again and it will be possible to select the desired program location
in the computer:
6. Click 3 times again Next > and finally
click Install.
7. Once the installation of the program has concluded, execute the
application by means of clicking over the icon located in the desktop.
8. The following window will appear:
9. Insert the following changes:

* COM Port: normally COM1
* Baud Rate: 57600
* Device: 89V51RD2
* Select "Erase blocks used by Hex File"
* Hex File: insert the location of the file for the firmware
upgrading (.hex) than can be downloaded from the webpage.
* Select "Prog Clocks Bit"

10. Click "Start"
11. Next window will appear:
12. Click "Yes"
13. Subsequently this window will appear:
14. Don't click "Cancel"! -
Instead, disconnect the mains plug (220 V) and connect it again
after 2 or 3 seconds.
15. Next window will appear while MicroMATV futura is being programmed:
16. Finally next window will appear, where
"Finished" can be read in the left bottom side:
17. Now MicroMATV Futura will be upgraded
to the last firmware version. This takes about 15 seconds and then
the unit will be ready.
