Since the publication of 2202/95/EC
Directive, Fagor Electronica S. Coop is involved, with the collaboration
of its valued suppliers, in the elimination or at least in the
reduction to allowed levels, in its products and manufacturing
processes, of the six banned substances: Lead (Pb), Cadmium
(Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6), Polybrominated
Biphenyls (PBBs) and Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDEs).
The RoHS Directive amendment of August 2005, establishes a maximum
concentration value of 0.1% by weight in homogeneous materials
for the above mentioned substances, and of 0.01% for Cadmium
to be tolerated.
The mentioned banned substances are not present in the products
manufactured and sold by Fagor Electronica S. Coop, with the
exception of Lead (Pb) which is either: |

As an element of the internal die solder to leads
or to lead-frames. RoHS annex exception # 7: Lead in high melting
temperature type solders (i.e. tin-lead solder alloys containing
more than 85% lead) |

As an element of the glass used for chip passivation
and chip protection. RoHS annex exception # 5: Lead in glass
of cathode ray tubes, electronic components and fluorescent
tubes, or |

As an element of the plating
in concentrations under 1000 ppm's. |
