The company took
its first steps along the road to Total Quality in 1993, when
it obtained the ISO-9001 Quality Certificate, and in 1995, it
adopted the EFQM as its quality management model. In 1999, the
company gained the QS-9000 Quality Certificate.
Environmental concern is also a fundamental part of Fagor Electrónica’s
philosophy, and one that plays an important role in the overall
high quality of our products. This commitment to the world we
live in is yet another example of a new concept of what it means
to be a company today.
As a consequence, Fagor has reached in 2002
the ISO 14001 Certification. This is the compromise of
a new way of understanding the company.
